Our Clients Testimonials

Dear Warren

I once had the privilege of seeing Sir Richard Burton on stage.  I have marvelled at Anton Mossiman creating fabulous dishes.  I have been stunned by Sir Simon Rattle.  I now add one more to my list, Mr Warren Bergson.  Of course it is much sweeter when there is victory and the victory is yours (I am but the client).  Had the decision in the Court not gone in our favour I could not have been less impressed with your ‘performance’.  Except for saying, good morning and later, thank you to the magistrates, I was silent.  This however gave me the opportunity to observe.

Prior to entering the Court you explained to me what you intended to do.  In Court all was polite to the Clerk and to your professional colleague from the CPS.  When the Clerk ‘started matters’ the prosecution’s demeanour changed and after a short rebuttal of your argument your countered; from that moment on you were in the ‘fast lane’ well I think it was you, perhaps in view of matters a bad expression and the man from the CPS, well, he was on his ‘heels’.  I think after that he only said a couple of words more than me.

You withdrew from the Court with me for a ‘consultation’ at which point your impression of the CPS chap was imparted in a most colourful manner, I didn’t realise that you knew such adjectives.  After returning to Court the Clerk advised us that the CPS had withdrawn their case.

There then followed for over 45 minutes your ‘request for costs".  Boy you were impressive, no umming no urring, you just let them have chapter and verse with the occasional reference to your collection of books from ‘Sainsburys’.  I must be going down different isles to you.  It was however nice of the Clerk to recommend Matalan where they have some ‘more suitable bags for you’.

Grateful if an understatement, what won’t be understated is how I value your services and you can be assured that when ever I get the opportunity I will be mentioning your name.

Once again many thanks.

Kindest Regards
